Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead organizational leadership and training for the organization. The Coordinator of Leadership and Training will build upon the current programs in place as well as create new and innovative leadership opportunities, educational experiences and valuable training for members, chapters and volunteers. Job Responsibilities: - Create and execute all current leadership programs of the Fraternity including, but not limited to, the James E. Greer, Jr. Presidents’ Leadership Academy, Regional Conclaves, and the annual International Convention and Leadership School
- Develop student learning outcomes for all programs that are consistent with the organization’s Mission, Credo, and values
- Develop new curriculum for programs deemed necessary by undergraduates and alumni leaders
- Recruit, train, and support alumni and guest faculty for all leadership programs
- In conjunction with the staff and volunteers, implement a distance-learning leadership and educational program to supplement the face-to-face programming
- Assist in the coordination of the Chapter Standards Program
- When appropriate travel to campuses to host leadership programs, retreats, and strategic planning with undergraduates and alumni
- Develop E-Learning modules for members, chapters and volunteers
- Maintain Leadership Opportunities portion of the ZBT website, and others as necessary
- Explore the opportunity for an Officer Certification Program
- Cultivate additional leadership opportunities for members outside of the fraternity
- Create a program that can serve as a pipeline for future staff members
- Develop leadership opportunities for the Undergraduate Supreme Councilors to cultivate as future staff members and volunteers
- Work with the Volunteer Committee in recruiting, training and retaining alumni volunteers (advisors, national committee members, mentors)
- Create on-going training programs for members, chapters and volunteers
- Develop ways to improve participation by antecedent groups
- Develop online resources to parents associations to operate independently
- Work with chapters to promote the benefits of being an alumnus to undergraduates, particularly to juniors and seniors, to help retain their involvement and membership
- Serve as a liaison to appropriate committees
- Utilize best practices of peer organizations for all aspects of position
- Other duties as assigned in relation to this position
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs for college students, preferably within the Greek Community
- Prior experience working or volunteering within the Jewish community
- Ability to manage a large and complex programming budget
- Creative and innovative with ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects at once
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
